Join us for an exciting and engaging event on World Mental Health Day! We're gathering at the beautiful Cosy Corner beach in Torquay for a unique paddle-out experience that will raise awareness for community mental health and wellbeing.
Being in the ocean has proven therapeutic value, and surfing and other ocean based activities can increase emotion regulation, social connection, getting into flow state, being present, leaving everyday stress behind on the shore, and the natural release of dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins.
No matter your surfing skill level, everyone is welcome to participate in this empowering event. Dive into a day filled with laughter, connection, and community. Together, we'll create a sea of positive energy and inspire others to prioritise their mental well-being.
After the water time we will be providing free coffees and hot drinks to continue the conversations and enjoy relaxing in the natural setting at Cosy Corner! Please bring along a keep cup/cup/mug to use.
What to bring: bring your surf board, paddle board, kayak, or body board whatever floats your boat! Bring your wetsuit, towel and water
