Your host Kit Kline, Social Worker and Nature Based Therapist, will teach you the skill of nature based mindfulness as you walk along the beach or coastal paths depending on tidal movements. Enjoy the opportunity to meet other women in the community to discuss the concept of self-care and how we can better support each other.
We will return at approximately 11.30am for a morning tea provided offering coffee and slices of sweets from Salty Dog Cafe, as we reflect on our nature walk and experiences of slowing down and connecting with nature.
This event is an opportunity to slow down and self-care whilst raising funds for the Art of the Minds festival nominated charity Foundation 61.

Kit has over 20 years experience working in the mental health and addictions sector and is the Founder of Nature Based Therapy. Kit is deeply connected to her Indigenous heritage and believes our disconnection from nature has contributed to both the mental health and climate crisis seen in our societies and on our planet today.
