Surf Coast Secondary VCAL students hit the streets through an exciting development of events, as Art of The Minds excitingly becomes embedded in the Torquay Secondary School Curriculum.
Under the VCAL unit Personal Development Skills, Year 11 and 12 students will have an opportunity to focus on;
• Family, social, community, and environmental responsibilities
• Planning and organisational skills
• Taking on responsibilities
Led by the fabulous Vocational Major, Community Connections 2023 teacher,
Thomas Dunn, the students, and
Biscuit will hit the streets of Torquay during National Mental Health Week. They will be handing out mandalas, to the business district/shops and local residents to display in their windows to show support for the mental wellbeing of others in our community.
