Join Clinical Psychologist Chris Mackey, and Mental Health Educator Jules Haddock who will explore the importance of finding the right professional and the impacts this may have in managing personal mental wellbeing in recovery.

Chris Mackey

Chris has 40 years’ clinical experience including 10 years as a Senior Clinical Psychologist at the Geelong and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospitals. Chris recently received the 2019 Australian Allied Health Impact Award for his clinical research, media involvement and for authoring a book on positive psychology and synchronicity: The Positive Psychology of Synchronicity: Enhance your mental health with the power of coincidence As a presenter of the television show Destination Happiness, he has now branched out into the world of Podcasts - Psych Spiels and Silver Linings

Jules Haddock

Owner of The Anxious Bird, she shares her own story of lived experience and recovery through education. Author of Chirpee The Anxious Bird, and Finding Faith in Mental illness, she also is a practicing artist, celebrating the freedom of mental health in her paintings. As president of The Art of The Minds festival held every October during National Mental Health month in The Surf Coast Shire, she encourages creative avenues for the conversations centred on our mental wellbeing.
